I don't live in a state with emissions testing, don't plan on keeping the current engine for another couple of years, and my converter has nearly caught on fire due to heat. This is the test pipe in question:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
It's on a'95 pre OB2 4Runner if that matters.

as long as it's made out of proper metal, I'd say it's good.

Even if it isn't, would it be okay for a couple of years since I don't live in a rust prone area?

Never tried, but I'd say Crazedclay knows a bit more on it. The cat heats up A LOT by design, so the test pipe should be fine.

I'll take y'alls word for it, so I'll measure tomorrow and bite if there is one still available.

for that price? Sure why the fuck not. Its just a piece of pipe its not like you are asking for a china built ebay camshaft.

I've been running a resonated test pipe for a year and a half on my 6th gen civic and recommend the modification. Installation is easy but time consuming. You will notice mild exhaust stink when sitting/idling. I suggest buying a resonated test pipe if available.
